Eugenia Siegler obtained her M.D. from Johns Hopkins, and then trained in Internal Medicine at Bellevue and New York University Hospitals. Following residency, Dr. Siegler completed her fellowship in general internal medicine and geriatrics at the University of Pennsylvania, and is is now medical director of geriatric inpatient services at the Weill Cornell Campus of the New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Although primarily a hospital-based physician, she also sees outpatients at the medical college’s Irving Sherwood Wright Center on Aging and serves as geriatrics consultant to NYPH-Weill Cornell’s HIV practice, the Center for Special Studies. In addition to geriatrics education, her scholarly interests focus on physician documentation in medical records and the care of people aging with HIV.
At the completion of this educational session, learners will:
- Be able to describe the epidemiology of HIV and aging.
- Understand the components of geriatric assessment and aging-related syndromes.
- Be familiar with the aging services network and geriatric care integration.
This CME activity was approved for
AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ on July 18, 2017 and will terminate July 17, 2020.
The target audience is all physicians, NPs and PAs involved or interested in HIV education.
This online video and post-activity evaluation are one hour in length.
After you complete the video portion of this educational activity there will be a post-activity evaluation and quiz.
You must achieve at least 70% correct to receive your CME certificate.
If successful, you will be provided instructions to print your CME certificate at the completion of this activity.
